The hostel did offer a lot of bed space and lockers, which was convenient. the swimming pool was also clean and provided a refreshing escape from the heat. the fact that they offered free breakfast and snacks was a nice touch. We also appreciated the provision of a free computer and books for use. One good thing about the location was that it was nice and quiet, with beautiful scenery. the staff were friendly and helpful, and we noticed many guests working from their laptops in the common area, which was a nice atmosphere.
Our stay at this hostel was not the best experience. the air conditioning in the rooms would turn off during the day, making it quite uncomfortable.

The hostel had a great breakfast with a wide variety of delicious regional fruit, and they also had water dispensers available in the common area. the pool had a beautiful view and was regularly cleaned by the staff. I also loved the lovely chill-out area with hammocks, although those sneaky mosquitos were a bit annoying. the staff were friendly and had an excellent level of English, always ready to help with any queries or arrange airport transfers. the hostel's location, away from the beach, meant it was peaceful and quiet, away from the noisy hustle and bustle.
The air conditioning, which was positioned right above the bed. It would have been more comfortable if it had been placed differently.

Value for money was great, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and amenities like a fridge and A/C. The location was lovely, a bit of a walk to the beach but surrounded by street vendors and restaurants. The super nice team and friendly.
Breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

The private twin room was gorgeous, with cheerful colors and a large, clean ensuite bathroom. I loved that there was a closet to secure my belongings and a space to hang my clothes. The common area was spacious and quiet in the evenings, with umbrellas and reed mats available for borrowing. The staff spoke excellent English and were always helpful. The highlight was definitely the pool, which was large, clean, and a game changer for relaxing after a day of exploring. Glur provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I highly recommend this hotel.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the relaxed and clean atmosphere of this hostel. The location was perfect, with the beach and main street within easy walking distance. It was great to have a pool and garden on site, providing a beautiful setting for relaxation. The social area was cozy and inviting, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The staff was amazing, always helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a bonus, with a good selection of fruit and toast. Another advantage was the availability of a laundry service and small shop on site, making it convenient for all my needs.
There were really no major negatives during my stay, but if I have to mention something, it would be the occasional difficulty in getting hot water in the room. However, who needs hot water in the tropics, right?

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome and provided me with all the information I needed for my city trip. the wifi connection was also good throughout my stay, which was really convenient for staying connected with friends and family back home. the beautiful garden with the pool was a great spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. It provided a peaceful oasis where I could take a dip and soak up the sun.
I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. the bins were full and I even encountered some unexpected visitors like frogs in the showers and slugs in the sinks.

I had a fantastic stay at Glur and would highly recommend it! I would definitely recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at Glur Hostel in Ao Nang for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The receptionist went above and beyond by providing us with the necessary document for immigration, something that no other accommodation we stayed at could do. The hostel itself was incredibly clean and comfortable, with a lovely garden and plenty of hammocks to relax in. The breakfast consisted of freshly cut fruits and there was always coffee, tea, and drinking water available. The overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making it the perfect place to meet people from all over the world. Highly recommend!
Strongly recommend this hotel.
